2 very bad trades today. Whole body aching and mind not thinking......
Anyway, am stopping before it gets worst. Good thing I use only 2 contracts rather than the usual 5. Got to get back to basics.

19th October - Live Trading

Never give up. Even though you did not sleep well last night.

God is faithful. When you are weak, learn to call out to Him - He will refresh you even as you seek Him.

Jeremiah 17:7-8 writes:

Not a good day. Lost $720. But, you know what, I was trying to mix around the strategies. Will need to be single minded.

17th October - ER2

Took a week of break to recap & rethink. Why am I trading?

Well, my greatest desire is to put my wife out of job so that she can take care of Sammi. Poor girl had a bout of flam for the past 3 weeks. Anyway, our faith is in God.

Today, I especially wanted to mention an unselfish man. I came to know about him through CCI. His name is Ken Wood and his teachings on Woodies CCI has been revolutionary. Well, I practised his trade methods today. Well,...............(post trades later, blogger seems to be having problems).

Also, more importantly, God spoke to me specifically:
1. Trade for me. That's why I'm dedicating today's US$332 to a mission in Aceh.
2. To be able to do reverse tithing eventually. Well, superb traders are known for selling highs and buying lows. God did not create us on earth to just enjoy and forget about everything else. There are other less fortunate people also. We need to get the good news to them !

It's awesome !

Down but not out.

A day of pre-empting the signals and it was not successful. Market also saw a lot of whipsaws. A very careful MM. Anyway, DM needs to be closely monitored.

Yo, earnings season is round the corner and officially kicks off when Alcon (AA) kicks off announcement on Oct 9 after market closes.

To the Options Investor, what are the options to look out for? Here’s a list that I’ll be putting on my watch list:

YUM (Yum Brands)
-Scheduled to report Oct 8th after Market closes
-Looking to enter for the 32.50 or 35 Oct Calls on Oct 8th before market closes

Mon (Monsanto)
-Scheduled to report Oct 10th before Market opens
-Looking to enter for the 85 or 90 calls on Oct 9th before market closes

Strategy: If make money, exit in first 6 minutes. If negative, go for a bear call spread if level II quotes are selling 2 times more sellers than buyers.

Got a book from Dave Lakhani titled "The Power of an Hour" by dashing on stage. Sometimes, to seize opportunities in life, you need to take action. What Dave demonstrated on stage was how to persuade people to doing extraordinary things. He gave a lot of insights of how to use Squidoo to generate traffic too.

Well, like Trinity, there's always 3 parts.....

And man, Stephen Pierce is just superb ! I learnt so much from him during the last conference that I fully supported my wife to go for his training. Just can't wait to see and meet him personally during UYMG in Kuala Lumpur at the end of this month !

Something good is going to happen. Can you feel it ?!!!!!!!!!!

A date with Destiny (Part 2)

I have heard so much about this man - saw pictures of him walking through fire with his "students" - are they crazy ?!

Anyway, this man had so much energy in him that he is simply irresistible ! And his emotions are so "mesmerizing". Some of his notable quotes today

He also shared about 5 key performance factors:
1. Raise your standards.
- Turn your "shoulds" into "must"

After hearing what he shared, I made 3 commitments which I'm stating in this blog so that I can also remind myself:

1. Spent excellent Quiet Time with God.

2. Workout ! (So that I can live long and enjoy the good things God gives !)

3. Be financially independent so that I can get out of the Rat Race. For the records, my aim is to be a US$1 Mil millionaire by Spring of 2010.


Anyway, the image that stuck to my mind was when he spoke about his F1 driving experience and how his instructor will push his face to focus him on the right direction to prevent his car from crashing.

Well, 3 decisions that we need to put into practice is our own "F1 circuit":

1. What are you focusing on?
2. What does this mean to you? The Beginning or the End?
3. What are you going to do?


For me, there is no retreat.


May God be the one that pushes me there !

A date with destiny (Part 1)

Wow, What a day !

Anthony Robbins, Stephen Pierce, Allan Pease and Dr Chiang all in a single day ! Meaty stuffs. More on this later.

While doing my Quiet Time today, I prayed to the Lord that whatever we sowed, we pray that we will reap in due season. You know what ? The meditation today was from Acts 14:17.

The NIV version says

He has not left himself without testimony; He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.

The verse speaks that God himself shows his kindness by giving us rain (water - word) from heaven and crops (fruits) in their seasons. Thus there is a cycle of sowing and reaping which we are all under. But more than that, it says in the following verses that He provides us with plenty of food (abundance) and fills our hearts with joy (joy from knowing that His kindness and love is with us).

There is a joy as we abide in Him. Don't dismay when sometimes you don't see results overnight. More importantly, let His joy be our strength !

A Day of Promise (1 Sep 2007)

My meditation this morning brings me to Proverbs 8:17-21.

In the KJV version, God wrote:
I love them that love me; and those that seek me shall find me. Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteouness. My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver. I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgement; That I may cause those who love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasuries.

Wow, God's promises contains so much guarantees ! And you know what ? It's a double promise - durable riches and righteousness. God's promises are with those who walk in righteousness !

It's also a double judgement. And that's why righteousness have to go in parallel with judgement too. However, knowing that we are living in a new convenant of grace, God gives to us righteouness that comes from faith and not by observing law.

What is God speaking to us today? May God reveal to us as we seek Him (early) 'cos He says we will find Him and when we do that ? !

The journey has just begun

Actually, there's excitement burning in my heart.

Recently, I attended a Futures Trading preview and the speaker spoke about the philosophy of price during trading. It's not new but this man brought a lot of new understanding and I began to do my homework. It was then that I saw the Trinity Indicators.

Anyway, I have been applying the Trinity Indicators to "LIVE" trading on the eMini Russell 2000 for the past 2 nights and below are the results:

29 August: 6 wins, 1 lost (made about US$400)
30 August: 5 wins, 1 lost (made about US$200)

My heart's feeling at the moment? I am awed.

There's still so much to learn.

Don't give up

Dont' give up.

Not an easy thing to say especially when you are still negative in your account. However, since I was taught proper money management techniques while attending a Options Trading course 6 months back, I have never looked back.

More than that, I go to the Market almost every night to feel the pulse of the market. Some nights are just way too tired for me and I try not to trade on those nights.

Why Trinity Indicators ?

Well, I guess many must be wondering why I titled my blog Trinity Indicators?

Anyway, my background is a marketing manager in a company renowned worldwide for it's high quality MP3 players. No, I'm not from Apple but close enough. If you follow the Blog closely, you might know (or some might already know from the string of clues that will follow).

Trinity Indicators? My wife asked me this morning - what's that?

I just told her Indicators are to Stock Traders what a compass is to a person on a journey. It tells where the market is headed. After learning from some of the renowned gurus, I must say that this is not an easy field to grasp but nevertheless, I realise that choosing the right indicators is a must to trading. Choose the wrong set and you will see whipsaws, shooting stars and hangmans ! For those who knows, you will know what I mean.

Well, while "resting" in God's presence, I began to ask what happened in the last 2 weeks in the market. That's when I began to see a lot of action happening in the charts. And that's when I also saw 3 indicators which gave very strong momentum and trend indications. Hence, Trinity Indicators was borned. (The name just came, btw....)
