29/4 Visa's result

Visa beats by $0.07, beats on revs; guides for FY08 (75.63 ) : Reports Q2 (Mar) earnings of $0.52 per share, $0.07 better than the First Call consensus of $0.45; revenues rose 22.0% year/year to $1.45 bln vs the $1.43 bln consensus. V sees rev growth of 11-15% over next 3 yrs. For FY08 guidance calulates out to roughly $5.76-6.0 bln, may not compare to the $6.13 bln consensus. Co seees annual adjusted operating margin (adjusted earnings before interest and taxes) in the low 40% range; annual adjusted diluted class A common earnings per share growth of 20% or greater; annual free cash flow (cash flow from operations plus cash reimbursements from litigation escrow less capital spending) in excess of $1 billion.
